As Senior Partner of WWA, Andy leads the firm’s development and service delivery in the UK and takes a “hands-on” role with project delivery, training and support to our project teams. He has clocked up over 35 years’ experience in the fields of Cost and Project Management and has an extensive list of successful projects, including the Stirling Prize winning Media Centre at Lords Cricket Ground and the multi-award winning Pendennis Shipyard in Falmouth. Andy is one of the original founding Partners of WWA and their ethos of developing a business based upon nurturing long-term relationships with clients, continues to underpin what we do.
When he is not in the sea with his surfboard, Andy is a passionate supporter of grassroots football and can be found most Saturday afternoons running the line for his local club.

David is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and manages the London Office. With over 25 years’ experience of the fast pace in the London construction markets he is an expert in the successful delivery of residential and mixed use schemes. David is heavily involved throughout the life of each project and strives for best value on behalf of clients and skillfully challenges design, specification and buildability issues without compromising design or vision. Nick qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in London in 1986 and joined the WWA team in 2010. Nick leads the cost management service and is responsible for maintaining our high quality of service to Clients and continuously improving our technical expertise. With vast experience across most market sectors his particular strength lies in “looking at the bigger picture” to overcome challenges and obstacles. This has been invaluable when working on large complex projects, the most notable of which being the award winning Eden Project in Cornwall.

As a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Martin has over 30 years’ experience as a Chartered Building Surveyor and Project Manager. Based in the Truro office, but covering projects nationally, Martin also leads WWA’s Building Surveying, BREEAM and Principal Designer services. Martin has undertaken many projects from within and as a consultant to client organisations. With a wealth of property, design and construction experience gained in most market sectors across the UK, Martin brings teams together to provide a complete service to our Clients. Martin also represents Cornwall on the RICS South West Board.

With over 20 years’ experience as a Cost Consultant, Project Manager and Employer’s Agent, he provides expert market advice and guidance to some of the company’s most valued clients. Andrew is passionate about the future social and economic development of the region and has been instrumental in the successful delivery of many transformational schemes across the City.

Matt qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in 2004 and is based in our Plymouth Office with a National client remit. For the past 15 years, he has been primarily focused on developments within the retail sector, with particular expertise in the planning and delivery of high street and food store developments, a challenging market. Matt has also developed a bespoke service for the pre-development phase of hotel and leisure facilities that has been adopted by National providers and reaped huge benefits. With an entrepreneurial spirit he is continuously looking for new markets, opportunities and efficient methods for delivery.
Matt enjoys spending time with the family, interspersed with taking part in regular circuit training, tinkering with DIY car mechanics, following the F1 Grand prix season and being a non-stop service provider to two teenage daughters!

Phil is an Incorporated Civil Engineer and Prince2 Practitioner with 30 years experience in all aspects of construction & development. Based in our Gloucester office, he has a national remit specialising in project and programme management, where his early experience as a designer and constructor has shaped his determination to deliver projects to clients, meeting their specific success criteria. A commercially astute and customer focused project manager, Phil has worked on a range of challenging and complex multi-disciplinary projects in the infrastructure, hotels, health, retail, education, airport and mining sectors.

James is a highly experienced and innovative professional with over 20 years construction industry experience and leads the Project Management service across the business, as well as the Exeter office. He has worked for developers, consultants and construction managers across a broad range of market sectors.
With a proven track record of delivery, James believes in close collaboration and team work across the professional disciplines. He thrives in complex and challenging environments, where he will drive the team to exceed client expectations, objectives and aspirations. He is an energetic and proactive individual, able to adapt to change and ensure momentum is maintained from project inception to completion.

Kate is a qualified Proposal Manager and experienced Business Development professional with over 20 years experience, with 12 years served in the construction industry. She works closely with the team to take care of our existing clients whilst growing the business in new markets. Covering the 5 offices in London, Gloucester, Exeter, Plymouth and Truro Kate provides strategic direction and practical support to identify new opportunities, converting these into exciting projects for the technical teams to deliver. She sits on the committee of South West Women in Construction and is Vice Chair of The Building Forum Devon & Cornwall.
As the mother of 3 sport motivated children, Kate spends much of her spare time as taxi driver and first aider to the teams!

Mark is an experienced Cost Manager, who manages our Salisbury office. Mark joined WWA from one of the largest international Cost Management practices, where he was a Director responsible for large-scale residential projects. Prior to that he spent 15 years as an Equity Partner within a mixed-discipline design practice in Bristol.
Mark has detailed knowledge of how to maximise value during the early stages of a project through the management of the design. He has a proactive and hands-on approach which continues through pre and post-contract stages and has been praised for his friendly and honest approach.
During his career, Mark has successfully managed projects in a number of sectors, including residential, education, sport and leisure.

Roland has been a professional Quantity Surveyor for over 40 years, working in both the UK and overseas. He is Honorary Chairman of Ward Williams Associates following his retirement from the business in 2014. As a board member of the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly LEP, Roland provides vast knowledge of the construction industry to assist in driving economic growth across the region.

Chris is a highly respected communicator and driver of positive change. He was founder and Director of Surfers Against Sewage for 10 years. With a strong focus on “solution to problems”, he assists us with ensuring the environment remains at the forefront of projects across the region.
Chris is also a YIMBY – Yes In My Back Yard – having campaigned for sewage treatment works, he lives next to one!
Tanya has over 20 years’ experience in Financial Control and Operations in both the Public and Private sector. She spent five years as the Finance & Operations Manager for a significant charitable trust and trained as a charity accountant with CIPFA. Other experience includes Finance Manager for the Transportation Unit at Poole Borough Council in Dorset, as well as senior roles at the RNLI and LV. Tanya leads the Operations and Administration team, responsible for financial management, administration, payroll and HR. She drives the development and implementation of company strategies, policies and practices for all offices.
In her spare time, Tanya is a Board Director and Treasurer for Plymouth Leander Swimming Association.
