Falmouth University’s new School of Communication Design, Fox 4, was the first new building to be constructed at the Falmouth campus for over twenty years and has the capacity to accommodate 300 students.

The scheme included, a second lecture theatre for the campus, offices, studios, exhibition and ancillary space. The project also has high sustainable credentials and has achieved BREEAM ‘Very Good’ standard, minimising the impact on the surrounding environment.

The project presented some challenges, with regard to minimising the disruption to student’s curricula activities and immediately adjacent neighbours, within a matured landscaped setting.

WWA provided Project Management, Quantity Surveying and Sustainability Advice throughout the duration of the project.
