08 Dec Flagship Care Home Opened in Exeter

WWA Client Lexicon Healthcare opened its £7.5m flagship care home, Green Tree Court, in Exeter in November.

Lexicon Healthcare provides nursing home environments that combine luxury residential accommodation with exceptional clinical care and support. They also specialise in dementia care, providing personalised services that really focus on individual care needs.

The Green Tree Court Facility features 68 spacious en-suite rooms with high quality facilities and opulent interior design. The building also includes a specialist dementia care wing, which is working to attain the internationally recognised Stirling Gold Standard for dementia friendly design. It is believed that this endorsement would make the facility the first of its kind in the West Country.

The principles behind the design are to create a space where person centred support can be delivered, taking into account individual capabilities and needs, ensuring dignity and respect and encouraging freedom of choice and independence.

Lexicon Healthcare’s Managing Director Michelle Pattrick RN said: “A huge amount of time and effort has gone into ensuring that Green Tree Court will improve the quality of life and wellbeing of our clients. Ward Williams Associates have provided multi-disciplinary consultancy services, including; quantity surveying, project management, employer’s agent and CDM coordination to the project.
