Anchorwood Bank, Barnstaple
The Anchorwood Bank project in Barnstaple involves a major brownfield regeneration of the former Leaderflush Shapland 43 acre site in Barnstaple.
The development will include a new Asda supermarket, 170 new homes, a 60-bed hotel, restaurants and cafés, as well as leisure, employment and community facilities.
WWA are providing project management, quantity surveying and principal designer services on Phases 1 and 2 of the project, which comprise demolitions of existing factory buildings and hardstandings, asbestos removal, land remediation, raising of existing levels to prevent flood risk, services diversions, the construction of tidal flood defences together with on and off-site highway works.
