Crinnis Beach-front Living, Carlyon Bay, Cornwall

The innovative beachfront development is set to become a new place to live, work and play for the communities in and around St Austell. The development will consist of 512nr luxury residential apartments, mews and beach houses in addition to associated retail and restaurants. There will be landscaped gardens and children’s play areas placed throughout the site to further encourage community engagement. The beach will remain publicly accessible, with the development supporting year-round food and drink offerings and pop-up events.

The design of the development takes cues from Cornish cut-throughs and coastal walkways and has prioritised new accessible routes to the three beaches. The plan also replaces some of the existing hard sea defences with a soft dune, improving the visual impact and facilitating an environment to support greater biodiversity.
