Lexicon Healthcare provides nursing home environments that combine luxury residential accommodation with exceptional clinical care and support. They also specialise in dementia care, providing personalised services that really focus on individual care needs.

The Green Tree Court Facility features 68 spacious en-suite rooms with high quality facilities and opulent interior design. The building also includes a specialist dementia care wing, which is working to attain the internationally recognised Stirling Gold Standard for dementia friendly design. It is believed that this endorsement would make the facility the first of its kind in the West Country.

The principles behind the design were to create a space where person centred support can be delivered, taking into account individual capabilities and needs, ensuring dignity and respect and encouraging freedom of choice and independence.

Ward Williams Associates provided multi-disciplinary consultancy, including; Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Employers Agent and CDM Principal Designer services to the project.

Our role included identification of Client Brief and negotiation of Contract Terms for the turnkey design and build procurement including all fixtures, fittings and equipment with a Care Home provider. The procurement included not only the building contract but a complex due diligence and input into the terms of the land sale contract to reduce and manage client risk.
BREEAM assessment services were also provided by WWA to the Care Home provider in addition to a full post-contract appointment for our rapidly expanding client.

Green Tree Court was shortlisted for a RICS South West Award 2015, in the residential category.
