National Museum, Riyadh

  • National Museum, Riyadh

The National Museum in Riyadh opened to celebrate the centenary of Saudi unification and was the result of an international design competition.

The primary custodian of Saudi national heritage and culture, the Museum is a place of learning and discovery.

The Museum’s central design feature is a curved west wall of local limestone that sweeps along Murabba Square and the Palace Garden in a broad welcoming gesture towards Mecca.

Acting on behalf of Buro Happold and the Riyadh Development Agency, WWA personnel provided Project Management and Quantity Surveying services for the duration of this prestigious international project.
