The Village is a complex of prestigious holiday lodges nestled on the Cornish coast close to Watergate Bay.

WWA were appointed for phases 2 and 3 of the project, which involved creating an additional 4 units to the site, including environmentally-friendly features as timber frame construction and sedum (planted) roofing.

A steeply sloping site necessitated tanked retaining structures and significant groundworks, however, it this has meant that the lodges have fantastic views of the Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

Along with full height glazing and balconies to the front elevation, a very high standard of finish was employed internally in keeping with the building’s prestigious location and connection with The Watergate Bay Hotel.

With programme being paramount the project was procured using a non-traditional construction management route enabling construction to commence on site whilst the remainder of the project was being procured.

WWA provided Quantity Surveying and CDM Principal Designer services for the project.
