On Friday 5th September, the WWA London office held their first Annual Golf Day at the St George’s Hill Golf Club in Weybridge. The Impressive venue hosted staff and clients for a round of golf and lunch.
All three of the stunning nine-hole courses were played during the day and the combination of the vast and tight heathers combined with the undulating landscape made for a challenging day of golf.
A Fortnum and Mason Hamper was awarded to the winner, followed by a number of other prizes for the runners up, it has to be reported that nearest-the-pin and longest drive competitions were won by Rob Carey and David Woodger respectively.
Chris Booth, Director, said: “a fabulous day all round, St George’s Hill is a superb venue and does everything with a certain quality and style, even the weather was just right for golf, not looking forward to staring at the nearest-the-pin and longest drive trophies every day though!”
