The Ward Williams team is delighted to announce that the St Erth Multi-Modal Hub (StEMMH) has been shortlisted by the ICE for the CEEQUAL Exceptional Achievement.

The St Erth Multi-Modal Hub (StEMMH) provides an excellent opportunity for drivers to switch to a more sustainable transport solution whilst aiding to tackle congestion on the highway network. The Hub integrates rail, bus, walking and cycling aimed at residents, visitors and commuters alike for travel to work, health, education, shopping and leisure. Near the St Erth Railway Station, the hub is served by both mainline (Penzance to Paddington) and branchline (St Erth to St Ives) train services and new facilities for bus operators have enabled effective connection with train services.

Cornwall Council has led the project supported by a grant from the European Regional Development Fund and money secured from the Local Transport Plan and Growth Deal funding provided by Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership. Linked to the StEMMH project were a number of essential and complementary projects, delivered by stakeholders including Network Rail (NR) and Great Western Railways (GWR).

We look forward to the awards evening in November and keep our fingers crossed in the meantime!
