Construction starts on Thames Hospice New Windsor Facility.

Construction is underway in Windsor for the development of new, bespoke, facilities for charity, Thames Hospice.

The WWA Gloucester office is providing Project and Cost Management, Employers Agent and Principal Designer services on the scheme. The project team also includes, KKE providing architectural services and Andrew Scott as the main contractor.

A Ground-Breaking ceremony was celebrated by over 80 supporters of the charity, with the first sod turned by Prime Minister Theresa May.

Thames Hospice is a charity providing expert care for people living with life-limiting illnesses in East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire. They take care for the physical, social and psychological needs of patients, not just the condition. Their highly skilled multidisciplinary team works with the patient, their family and carers, to develop a complete programme of care tailored to their individual needs.

The new facilities will provide:
