As Senior Partner of WWA, Andy leads the firm’s development and service delivery in the UK and takes a “hands-on” role with project delivery, training and support to our project teams. He has clocked up over 40 years’ experience in the fields of Cost and Project Management and has an extensive list of successful projects, including the Stirling Prize winning Media Centre at Lords Cricket Ground and the multi-award-winning Pendennis Shipyard in Falmouth. Andy is one of the original founding Partners of WWA and their ethos of developing a business based upon nurturing long-term relationships with clients, continues to underpin what we do.

When he is not in the sea with his surfboard, Andy is a passionate supporter of grassroots football and can be found most Saturday afternoons running the line for his local club.

James is a highly experienced and innovative professional with over 20 years’ property development and construction industry experience.  He is the Managing Partner responsible for the smooth operation of our services and the development of the business in support of the Partners and their teams. He is also directly responsible for the development and leadership of our Project Management service across the business.  He has worked for developers, consultants and construction managers across a broad range of market sectors and geographical locations in the UK and overseas.

With a proven track record of delivering large and complex projects and programmes, James believes in close collaboration and teamwork across the professional disciplines.  He thrives in challenging environments, where he will drive the team to exceed client expectations, objectives and aspirations. He is an energetic and proactive individual, able to adapt to change and ensure momentum is maintained from project inception to completion.

An avid water sports enthusiast, he will often be found sailing and windsurfing around the Devon and Cornwall coastlines with his family.

Dwaine has successfully delivered a diverse range of projects including Grade 1, 2 and 2* refurbishment, education, retail, offices, leisure, residential, industrial and infrastructure in both the public and private sectors.

Matt Bromley

Matt qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in 2004 and is based in our Plymouth Office with a National client remit. Following on from a very successful period delivering high street and food store developments, Matt then developed a bespoke project and cost management service for the pre-development phase of hotel and leisure facilities that has been adopted by National providers and reaped huge benefits. With an entrepreneurial spirit, he is particularly adept at providing a tailored project and cost management service to clients requiring support and guidance on all type of projects, thereby establishing new opportunities and efficient methods for delivery. Matt is an RICS Registered Expert Witness and leads the Contract Advisory and Dispute Resolution team within the business.

Matt enjoys spending time with the family, interspersed with taking part in (ir)regular circuit training, tinkering with DIY car mechanics, following the F1 Grand Prix season and being a non-stop service provider to two teenage daughters!

Tanya has over 20 years’ experience in Financial Control and Operations in both the Public and Private sector. She spent five years as the Finance & Operations Manager for a significant charitable trust and trained as a charity accountant with CIPFA. Other experience includes Finance Manager for the Transportation Unit at Poole Borough Council in Dorset, as well as senior roles at the RNLI and LV. Tanya leads the Operations and Administration team, responsible for financial management, administration, payroll and HR. She drives the development and implementation of company strategies, policies and practices for all offices.

In her spare time, Tanya is a Board Director and Treasurer for Plymouth Leander Swimming Association.

Mike is a chartered project manager with an award-winning record in project delivery for both public and private sector clients and organisations. He has led major capital projects in excess of £300m and worked on landmark developments spanning place-making, health, residential and urban renewal, education, heritage, art and culture in addition to secure and discreet project work. He has exceptional leadership qualities and communication skills.

Mike is an accomplished negotiator and has arranged numerous development agreements in addition to commercial settlements for a vast array of project types. He is conversant in all major forms of contract and takes an innovative approach to procurement. Mike leads our South coast business with a friendly, hands-on approach underpinned by a determination to exceed client expectations in every project we are involved in.

Martin is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 25 years’ experience. He studied at the University of Salford and has spent his working life in the Greater Manchester area watching the Cities of Manchester and Salford grow to the world-renowned status they have today. Martin has been fortunate to work on high profile projects including Manchester Hospital PFI, University of Manchester, the Commonwealth Games, Media City (Coronation Street) and Salford Rugby Stadium. He has also worked on a mix of other education, commercial and residential developments.

Out of work he keeps an eye on the current struggles of Bolton Wanderers, spends some time in the gym and walking the dogs around the village where he lives on the edge of the West Pennine Moors.

As the Office Partner, Nikki leads the service delivery of the Plymouth office and takes a proactive ‘hands-on’ role with project delivery and supporting the office team. She has over 15 years’ experience in Cost Management and Employer’s Agent roles and has delivered a number of award-winning projects including the residential development known as Leeward House at Mount Wise and Seaton Jurassic Visitor Centre.

When she is not out running to keep fit, Nikki can often be found at weekends taking part in equine themed activities with her three pony-mad daughters.

Simon is a Partner and Office lead for the Exeter office. He is a Chartered Project Management Surveyor with over 12 years’ experience delivering projects with a focus on driving a committed and client-focused team ethos. 

His early career focussed on Healthcare and Science Projects for large estates and public sector clients and also gained experience working overseas completing projects in Africa, India and Central America. In more recent years Simon has delivered a range of commercial, residential and leisure projects. He has led some of WWA’s most challenging and exciting projects in the UK and abroad. Simon grew up in Devon and has been working in the region for 7 years. Joining WWA in 2015, he is extremely proud of the WWA team that has developed and grown in Exeter during this time.

Simon enjoys the best of Devon living in his spare time he engages in a range of outdoor pursuits including water sports and hiking.

Tom is a chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 15 years’ experience gained across various sectors. Based in the Gloucester office, he joined WWA in 2015 having worked for both regional Main Contractors and Surveying Practices, bringing a wealth of experience gained in both disciplines. Tom has experience of the retail, industrial, airport, infrastructure, commercial, housing and student accommodation sectors and has worked with several large clients and developers. He has particular expertise in the infrastructure sector and has delivered significant housing infrastructure and highways schemes, as well as representing landowners on land sale negotiations with major housebuilders.

Away from work, Tom is a keen cricketer, runner and any other sports family life will allow time for!

After growing up in Devon, James moved to London after finishing his University studies and worked for national consultancies over a ten year period.  Specialising in the Higher Education and Healthcare sectors, James has worked on projects ranging from small-scale refurbishments, to signature Architect led multi-phased estate redevelopment plans, throughout the UK.  Since relocating back to Devon in 2018 and joining WWA, James provided the cost management input in relation to the award-winning ‘The Wave’ project in Bristol, as well as developed the healthcare offering in Devon, primarily with the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.

James enjoys anything water-based and is often found on a boat with his less enthusiastic young family.

Scott is Partner with responsibility for Strategic Development within the company, working closely with the wider Partnership Board and staff to review and implement new initiatives.  This includes the implementation and growth of our world-first B Corporation status which assesses the business impact on the triple-bottom-line across People, Planet and Profit.  Scott Co-Chairs the B Corp UK Built Environment Working Group and is a committee member a number of sector bodies including the Carbon Neutral Cornwall Partnership Board and Constructing Excellence Cornwall Hub.

Scott’s service focus is in the delivery of regeneration and place-shaping projects for Clients including local authorities, the higher education sector and in the private sector, as well as developing public sector, Local Enterprise Partnership and Chamber of Commerce construction strategies. The cross-over between the future growth of the built environment, zero-carbon ambitions and electric vehicles has seen Scott lead on developing a Solar Canopy and EV charging infrastructure product.

Outside of work, Scott loves to cycle around Cornwall, spend time with his family on the Cornish beaches, or ideally be planning an adventurous overseas trip.

Hollie is a Partner of WWA based in Manchester and has over 12 years’ experience in the Development and Project Management fields. She specialises in Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) and Co-living developments. Hollie has successfully led on a number of prestigious schemes nationally, including Echo Street, Manchester which was the first PBSA/Co-living scheme to be granted planning permission in the City.

As an experienced development/project manager, Hollie is skilled at project delivery strategies that provide value for Clients, whilst minimising risk. She works collaboratively with her clients to understand their objectives and aspirations, resulting in consistently exceptional outcomes.

When not caring for her horse and dogs, Hollie is a keen runner and enjoys hiking in the Lake District.

James is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He specialises in monitoring projects for banks and funders’. Based in our London office, James has worked with a wide range of funders and equity providers from private investors and high street banks through to bond and PFI financed schemes.

His project experience covers a large range of project types including; private and public residential, private rental schemes (PRS), social and sheltered housing; hotels; offices; student accommodation; healthcare and primary to higher education. The scale of project experience ranges from single dwellings through to entirely new build university campuses.

Away from the office James is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Loriners and has season tickets for Harlequins and Surrey.

Chris is a highly respected communicator and driver of positive change. He was founder and Director of Surfers Against Sewage for 10 years. With a strong focus on “solution to problems”, he assists us with ensuring the environment remains at the forefront of projects across the region.

Chris is also a YIMBY – Yes In My Back Yard – having campaigned for sewage treatment works, he lives next to one!
