Gloucester Rugby New State-of-the-Art Training Facility Ready for Preseason Training

Gloucester Rugby has moved their training facilities to Gloucester in a multimillion-pound investment for the city. The space has recently been completed and is already being used by the squad.

The new training facility is now next door to Kingsholm Stadium, in what previously was the SLG Beauty Warehouse. Gloucester Rugby and the project team have transformed this space into an elite high-performance training centre, designed to significantly improve the training and playing experience for all Gloucester Rugby players.

The facility includes a 470sqm gym, which comprises six Olympic lifting platforms, a rehabilitation centre with both hot and cold recovery systems and a dedicated recovery gym. In addition to this, the facility now includes an indoor high-performance training pitch.

Dave Marks, from our Gloucester Office, said “We are so proud to have been part of this incredible project to enable Gloucester Rugby Club to have a new gym and training facility so close to the Kingsholm Stadium. WWA provided Quantity Surveying and Contract Administrator services and worked alongside The Development Studio, Jones King, Hydrock and E G Carter. We are delighted to see the facilities already being used by both the players and coaching team.”
