WWA provided Quantity Surveying and Employer’s Agent services for the Great Oldbury Academy Project – part of the Great Oldbury development in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire.

The scheme was developed to maximise energy efficiency and minimise the CO2 emissions of the school throughout its lifespan. The school is east-facing with extensive glazing providing natural light and ventilation, with solar shading added to limit heat gains.

Surrounded by local housing, open spaces and landscaping, Great Oldbury Academy creates a thriving and sustainable heart to the new neighbourhood – an inspirational focus within walking distance of the local community it serves.
